Speakers: Trichology Conference 2020
This year, the Trichology Conference will run as a series of webinars on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd June 2020 for current TrichoCare Education students and ART members. WHO ARE THE SPEAKERS?

Brian Plunkett,
Registered Trichologist ART, Head of Education at TrichoCare
Brian Plunkett is a Consultant Trichologist. With over 35 years of practice, Brian has built a distinguished reputation for accurately diagnosing and successfully treating a wide range of hair and scalp conditions.
He specialises in the treatment of female and male hair loss, conditions of the hair and scalp, and allergy. He is regularly asked to provide expert evidence in cases involving allergic reactions to hair products. Brian is a Member and past Vice Chairman of the Institute of Trichologists. He has practices in Bedfordshire and London. Brian is also Head of Education TrichoCare Education operating from its school in Milton Keynes. He enjoys music and plays the violin – quite badly. Brian is also proud to be a Trustee of the David Young’s charity.
International speakers

Dr. Donovan, Keynote Speaker
Dr. Donovan is a US and Canadian board-certified dermatologist specializing exclusively in the diagnosis and treatment of hair loss. He is certified by the American Board of Dermatology and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. He received his medical degree from the University of Ottawa in 2004. His post-graduate clinical training in Dermatology and PhD studies in molecular biology were conducted at the University of Toronto. Dr. Donovan practices in Whistler, Canada and lectures nationally and internationally on hair loss. He is currently the President of the Canadian Hair Loss Foundation, a non-profit organization which supports education and research in hair loss. Dr. Donovan has authored and co-authored over 40 articles which are published in a variety of research journals. He is the recipient of several national and international awards for patient care, research, and leadership. His expertise makes the Conference in Trichology an event not to miss, especially if you are interested in attending a Trichology Conference.

Jacky’s interest in Photobiomodulation
Jacky van Driel Nguene, Registered Trichologist ART
As a Medical Biochemist (Royal Holloway University of London), Jacky has in depth knowledge of cell biology and chemistry, microscopy, nutrition, microscopy and a variety of other scientific areas.
She has a special interest in Photobiomodulation, Coily & Curly hair as well as genetic disorders. She studies how these factors can impact hair and scalp conditions. With over 15 years-experience as an international science educator, Jacky is one of Europe’s most knowledgeable educators in the science of Trichology.

Wil Fleeson, Registered Trichologist ART
Wil Fleeson has been at the forefront of the hairdressing industry for over 30 years. He is a Director and Educator at the internationally acclaimed Rainbow Room International. In 2017 Wil became a qualified and Registered Trichologist with the ART. He was one of the first students to graduate with the UK’s iTEC accredited Ofqual recognised training body – TrichoCare Education. Will is the founder of Trichology Scotland with Trichology UK due to be launched imminently.
His vision is to connect clients experiencing hair loss and scalp disease with ethical, credible health care professionals throughout the UK. His insights are a valuable part of the Conference for Trichology this year.

Angela Stoker, Registered Trichologist ART
Angie Stoker is the owner of GroHair Trichology in Hull, East Yorkshire. With over 21 years of experience in hairdressing, I added to my skills by qualifying as a trichologist in 2019 with TrichoCare Education. I set up my clinic just one month later.
Kathryn Nash, Registered Trichologist ART
Kathryn Nash was Student of The Year in 2019 by Trichocare and is a Registered Trichologist. She is also the owner of Harvey-Smith Hair Enhancement Clinic. This clinic provides a professional and caring environment for anyone who is suffering with hair loss.
Pamela Carter, Registered Trichologist ART
With a background in hairdressing, and as co-owner of Halo Hair Design in Irvine, Scotland, Pam recently qualified with accredited providers of trichology training – TrichoCare Education. Pam manages Trichology Scotland – Ayrshire Clinic.
