Meet the Team

Students of TrichoCare are supported by a faculty of professionally experienced tutors who provide encouragement, advice and guidance throughout the period of study.

Brian Plunkett ART

Head of Education

Brian Plunkett ART

Brian is the founder of TrichoCare Education. For many years he was a hairdresser and salon owner, and his interest in the science of the hair and scalp developed during that time. He studied trichology and qualified as a Consultant Trichologist. Brian Plunkett is a former Vice President of the Institute of Trichologists, and now practises at clinics in Bedfordshire and London.

Brian is passionate about teaching and improving diagnostic skills. He believes that as hair professionals learn to understand more about hair and scalp problems, they can more accurately diagnose hair and scalp conditions and give a more informed, helpful and valuable service to their clients. Brian oversees the Course content and delivery, and is an assessor for the practical consultation aspects of the Course.
